Hello students! For our first assignment we will be going over is a narrative paper. What is a narrative paper? You read this kind every time you read a fiction story! A narrative paper means the paper is in 3rd person, using the words He, She, They, ect and the author becomes the narrator. Also narratives have very detailed descriptions. [EXAMPLE: The shirt was creamy white with a festive lace border around the bottom of the hem.] NO FIRST PERSON [Me, I, We] ON THIS PAPER!!! As for the topic I would like you all to type a narrative paper on an experience you had in your life that made you feel proud, for example when you earned your first pay check or when you got your drivers license or something of that nature.

Notes to consider for this paper:

1~ Points will be taken off for grammar and spelling errors.

2~ College students will have higher expectations there for will be graded harder.

3~ DO NOT USE ‘you’ WHEN WRITING! Writers should never address your audience in a formal setting.

4~ 2-4 Paragraphs are recommended, No less than 2. A paragraph is 3-4 sentences.
